Period: 07 | FINAL

Period: 01 | FINAL

Reflection;
For our final my group and I decided to capture water motion. We did our research online to see what ideas we can maybe try and we came across this picture in which they pop a water balloon and then capture the water once the water balloon is popped. We thought that this would of been a very fun project to do for our final. Some of things that we tried were trying to pop and hold the water balloon in different ways to maybe see if maybe the water when we popped it the water would show different. Another thing we tried was seeing if the more we added water to it if it would maybe be different in which in some ways it was because it would splatter more. This project was probably one of my favorites it was really interesting and it was also very fun. Trying to capture that one shot and which when we showed people they would say "that's cool", "how did you guys do that?" Our concept for what we were going for didn't change it was the same.

Reflection Questions:

1.) For this photo I used skulls since i did not have sugar skulls I used these artifical skulls. I stack the pictures in a variety of different angles to see what would be the best way to show this. I also included flowers because during The Day of The Dead they use a lot of flowers and also sugar skulls which they make for fun and decorate them in a variety of ways. For this picture i decided to make it in black and white to give it a darker sort of look and i also used the hot lights.
2.) My theme for my concept still stayed the same.

Reflection:

1.) For this picture I used this figure of a skeleton in this sort Mexican worrier outfit. I used a white background to take this picture & I also used the hot light to show this shadow to look like it's alive in the shadow but the sculpture is a skeleton. I also added these scratches on photo shop as well to give it this textured look. As well as making the shadow a little bit more darker to so it can look like his spirit is alive.

2.) How this image contributes to my theme is how during the day of the dead they belive that the dead peoples spirits come back and visit. Which is the reason by i added the shadow to make it look like it's alive. My idea didn't change it still stayed the same with the theme that i choose for this.

Reflection:

1.) For this photo I used a hot light and a white background I also had my model in a traditional Mexican dress and did her make-up as my concept which is Day of The Dead. I also use the hot light to make a shadow of her, because they believe that during Day of The Dead there souls come and visit us. I also included a skull and some flowers even thought the traditional flowers that should be used for this would have been better to use the marigolds.

2.) The concept of my theme did not change it still stayed the same.
